Doctoral Student Survey Award

Developed in 2022, the Division of Public Opinion & Policy Doctoral Student Survey Award is designed to fund survey research for a doctoral student. Eligible doctoral students submit survey research proposals highlighting public opinion issues within criminology and criminal justice. The winning proposal will earn $1,000 to collect survey data over the next year, with the findings to be presented at the ASC Annual Meeting the following year. Tax-deductible donations can be made to the fund this award. All donors will be acknowledged on the DPOP website; however, donors may choose to remain anonymous.
